Sent by God to help us

April 22, 2025 by SandraJ1 min read

I was a huge fan of The Apprentice during its heyday. I often found myself chuckling at the idiocy of the host, which made it all the more interesting for me. I love studying people and the psychology behind what makes them tick and how they behave.

A few years later, when The Host announced his candidacy for president, I assumed it was a publicity stunt. There’s no way such an idiot would ever attempt to become the president of this great country and even if he did, there was no way he could possibly win.

Never did I dream some would think this man was sent by God to help us.

I can think of few influential persons with a choke-hold over Christians, whose life is less like the teachings of Jesus then this man’s.

Sometimes I feel like I’ve entered an alternate reality, and it’s not a good one. 😔

About the author

SandraJ

I guess most people would say that my passion is speaking my mind. *grin* They're probably right. I don't make it my business to start a debate regarding politics and religion, but if someone else does, I definitely put in my two cents worth. My first job was data entry on the very first computers that were at the state employment office. It was called "keypunch," and I was 18 years old. I've been fascinated with technology ever since. My first website was on the now defunct GeoCities, titled, Alzheimers, a Map for the Journey, created shortly after my father was diagnosed. It was a passion of mine to help people navigate the drug trials and the trauma. The site was later entered in a book that was written for coping with the diagnosis. I was busy with a family when GeoCities was deleted, and we didn't have the "cloud" back then, so all of it, sadly, is lost. Of course, the information would be outdated now anyway. This Surviving the Circus blog was originally (and still is) located at https://SurvivingtheCircusofLife.blogspot.com, but I have decided to self host so I can feel free to speak my mind, and to monetize the site hopefully, as I survive on a limited income via Social Security. I'm currently in the Pacific Northwest, close to my oldest daughter, (a cancer survivor and an RN), and her son, a former Marine. My youngest daughter is in the southeast coastal hurricane area, managing MS and my newest little grandson. I'm very proud of my family. I also have two stepdaughters and a stepson from 2 previous marriages, and I love them all. If you're in the midst of busy family life, be thankful. It doesn't last long. Welcome to my blog! SandraJ

Darline said let me be honest in SC GOP Debate

My home state of South Carolina is making national news again, and not in a good way, again. During a debate with Rep. Ralph Norman, interim Sen. Darline Graham (Lindsey Graham’s sister), asked for a question to be repeated, and then answered… “I’m just going to be honest here … I’m not that informed on national security.” 🤦   The viral video clip of Senator Graham’s response was widely shared across social media, as it should have been. I’m not sure how she spells her name. I’m from South Carolina too, so any spelling is acceptable, but all of the […]
