I’m a firm believer if things aren’t broken then there’s no need to change them. I’m all in favor of AI; I use it to generate images all the time, especially with social media and blog posts.
However, having not self-hosted in a couple of years proved to be much more of an adjustment than I was anticipating. I’ve been working on this new blog for a week now, constantly trying one theme and then another because none of them let me have complete control of my website, which I’m paying for. I have finally settled on this one temporarily because it fits my basic needs.
I noticed on Reddit and other forums that I am not the only old-timer from the original WordPress format, who is disgusted with these upgrades.
Hopefully I will adjust, but there’s already so much to adjust to right now in the world that I’m just not sure I want to. 😂😂😂
For those of you who kept visiting the site, I am sorry it was not accessible for so long. Hopefully everything is in working order now.
