My home state of South Carolina is making national news again, and not in a good way, again.
During a debate with Rep. Ralph Norman, interim Sen. Darline Graham (Lindsey Graham’s sister), asked for a question to be repeated, and then answered…
“I’m just going to be honest here … I’m not that informed on national security.” 🤦
The viral video clip of Senator Graham’s response was widely shared across social media, as it should have been. I’m not sure how she spells her name. I’m from South Carolina too, so any spelling is acceptable, but all of the viral clips I’ve seen spell it Darline. In my world, that name would be spelled Darlene.
I haven’t watched the whole debate but I did see enough of it to see that Rep. Norman also answered the same question and I was quite impressed, albeit surprised, that he didn’t use her answer to humiliate her.
It would have been a legitimate thing to expect during a debate when someone has no clue about what’s happening with national security, and admits it live – on TV – during a debate.
