Gerrymandering in Texas

Texas Republicans plan to redraw Congressional district lines which would add 5 House seats to the GOP in 2027. 😈

The redrawn district map would remove Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s home from her current district. 😡

Best comment I’ve heard today:

“Gov. Abbott gerrymandering like a drunken Etch-A-Sketch.” 🥴

 

Rumor:

Gov. Newsome has told aides he will redraw his state’s congressional lines to install more Democrats if Texas Republicans go through with their gerrymandering in Texas. 👏👏👏
