Darline said let me be honest in SC GOP Debate
My home state of South Carolina is making national news again, and not in a good way, again.
During a debate with Rep. Ralph Norman, interim Sen. Darline Graham (Lindsey Graham’s sister), asked for a question to be repeated, and then answered…
“I’m just going to be honest here … I’m not that informed on national security.” 🤦

The viral video clip of Senator Graham’s response was widely shared across social media, as it should have been. I’m not sure how she spells her name. I’m from South Carolina too, so any spelling is acceptable, but all of the viral clips I’ve seen spell it Darline. In my world, that name would be spelled Darlene.
I haven’t watched the whole debate but I did see enough of it to see that Rep. Norman also answered the same question and I was quite impressed, albeit surprised, that he didn’t use her answer to humiliate her.
It would have been a legitimate thing to expect during a debate when someone has no clue about what’s happening with national security, and admits it live – on TV – during a debate.
You can see the clip of the debate, in the link below, which actually includes the question. This particular video was shared on Facebook by Aaron Rupar, an independent journalist.

It’s been covered by PBS, NBC, Nebraska and New York, and that’s just the ones I’ve noticed without doing a deep dive.
Nikki Haley commented on Facebook and also included a clip.

I first saw it this morning on Aaron Parnas’ YouTube channel, which is where I get most of my morning news.
Aaron Parnas is a lawyer, journalist, and political commentator who once supported Trump, and even volunteered for his 2016 campaign. You can find him on YouTube, @aaronparnas1
So now the real question is, will this affect the vote?
The S.C. GOP U.S. Senate runoff debate was hosted by Newsmax and South Carolina ETV (SCETV), and co-moderated by Greta Van Susteren (Instagram handle: @greta).
